Pictures, Paintings, Words

Haystack in the Meadow by Antoinette McArthy, Centennial Valley

Please join the UAEC for our third annual display of the photographs, poems, paintings, and essays from GoLearn students.

The gallery will feature the plein air paintings from students of Dave Meikle’s immersion trip to Zion National Park and Stephen Trimble’s photography and writing trip to remote and beautiful Centennial Valley, Montana.

Students learned techniques and tips from the master artists, and used the trips to hone their skills, make new friends, and create their own masterpieces.

The Utah Art and Environment Collaborative is thrilled to welcome these artists and students. Each piece reminds us of why we work to protect wild places and their capacity to inspire and awe.

Come view the art, meet the students and teachers, ask questions, and enjoy light appetizers and refreshments. UAEC member Wild Utah Project will also be there to discuss their work to conserve Utah lands.
